Abstract

The criminality patterns of the aged in Israel are portrayed on the basis of recorded crimes during a selected five year period from 1960 to 1965. Variables such as sex, country of origin, ecological distribution and immigration patterns are described. It is in the type of offenses, rate of recidivism and types of court disposition that the aged offenders differ from the general adult criminality.
