Abstract
This paper presents 30 previously unpublished Persian and early Hellenistic period stamp impressions unearthed at excavations in Nebi Samwil between 1992 and 2003. Sixteen of these are of the diverse Yehud types and 14 are of the lion stamp type. So large a number of official stamp impressions underscores Nebi Samwil's role as an important administrative centre to the north of Jerusalem, on the main road leading to the city from the Shephelah.
