Abstract
Quantum statistical properties of three-level lasers, in which pumping excites atoms from the lower lasing level are studied with the help of a mathematical model. Statistical characteristics of the laser field revealed phase-transition-like behavior at two critical points. Mutual complementarity of three statistical parameters namely the Fano factor, the second order coherence function, and relative variance were demonstrated.
