Abstract

Two broadband, sparse array, multiple-beamforming, optical processors are presented. They enable squint-free, true-time delay beamforming of large, randomly-spaced antenna arrays by compensating the frequency-dependent scale factor of the RF images produced by a Fourier optical imager.
