Abstract
The present invention provides a colorimetric and/or fluorescent detector, which comprises a polydiacetylene (PDA) film deposited on a polymethylmetacrylate (PMMA) substrate, as a solid organic matrix comprising one or more PDAs deposited on this substrate, wherein the PDA comprises polymerized units of one or more diacetylene monomers, and wherein the matrix further comprises at least one recognition element of an analyte. Also are provided a method for detecting analytes using this detector, uses thereof and a method for its preparation.
