Abstract

1. The polycondensation of a number of gem-dihalocyclopropanes under the influence of lithium in tetrahydrofuran medium gave oligomers with an average mol. wt. of 300-700. 2. An analysis of the IR and NMR spectra testifies to the main retention of the 3-membered ring during the polycondensation process.
