Abstract

The structure and possibilities are described of a program complex for simulation of ion transport process by the Monte Carlo method. The complex is developed on the base of a module principle, written on the FORTRAN-4 language and realized in the BESM-6, ES and IBM PC/AT computers. Module organization of the complex permits to carry out fast transition to different geometries, sources, detector types and nonanalog algorithms for simulation of radiation transport process. On the base of comparative calculation results is made the conclusion on the efficiency of the BRAND computer program complex for radiation transport simulation.
