Abstract

The separation of nitrates from nitrates and the separation of various nitrates and nitrates by solventing out from aqueous solution by three miscible organic solvents (acetone, acetonitrile and tetrahydrofuran) were studied. The degree of precipitation for each salt is tabulated for both one step and multi step separatoin. Conditions for optimal separation are discussed.
