Abstract
The minimum on the average particle size Vs isothermic exposure curve has been found theoretically and confirmed experimentally in terms of the analysis of the kinetic equation for the disperse particle growth in a metallic matrix. The exposure time is estimated for liquid-phase sintering of a titanium carbide - 30-50 wt.% nickel alloy when an average particle size in the finished alloy is no more than an average particle size of the original powder titanium carbide.
