Abstract

The 2Z-N nuclear correlations were applied to the number of prompt neutrons emitted in thermal neutron-induced fission and from spontaneous fission. These correlations served to predict the average νth of 227Th, 230Pa, 236Np, 248Bk and 257Fm, and the average νsf of 232U.
