Abstract
A morphological method is presented for the construction of prefabricated reticulated shells from bars of predetermined lengths and a standard joint. The procedure is based on subdivision of the surface into irregular shapes constructed from bars of lengths given for the defined zones on the surface. The advantages of the method are: use of bars of a restricted number of lengths; use of a standard joint fitting any grid pattern; good agreement with the static requirements.
