Abstract
1. As the result of the studies that were made a platinum aromatization catalyst has been developed promoted with additives which ensure it a sufficiently high activity and stability in the aromatization of the 62-85°C fraction at 10 t. atm. 2. It was shown that in the aromatization of the 62-85°C fraction at 10 t. atm. pressure a benzene yield of not less than 27% by weight based on the raw material can be assured for a working duration of not less than 1000h without regeneration. 3. It was found that the promoted catalyst has a satisfactory capacity for restoring its activity after 1300 h of operation in aromatization under conditions of the usual oxidation regeneration used for platinum reforming catalysts.
