Abstract
The effect of Zn-doping on transport properties of self-doped La0.91Mn0.95O3 manganite is reported. The doping changes the nature of the low-temperature conductance from a metallic-like one to an insulator-like one, i.e., induces the localization of carriers and decreases the Curie temperature. Effects of hydrostatic pressure on the resistivity of parent La0.91Mn0.95O3 and La0.84Zn0.073Mn0.95O3 are compared.
