Abstract
Data from vapour pressure osmometry at concentrations below 0.2 mol kg -1, and from vapour pressure measurements for higher concentrations, have been used to calculate water activities and osmotic and activity coefficients of thorium nitrate in aqueous solutions at 25, 35 and 45°C over a wide range of concentrations. Data have previously been published for 25°C only, and these differ significantly from ours.
