Abstract

This is a two-volume book in Hebrew. It is destined for students of industrial engineering, statistics, business management and Operations Research, and also to the wide public of technicians, engineers and managers, who need quantitative methods (statistics and otherwise) for making decisions relating to the design and control of work processes. The two-volume book is divided into three parts: Basic probability and statistics, data analysis and optimal decision-making (related to forecasting and optimization).
