Abstract

The spin charge separation in spin transport and related QH transitions, which were controlled by the average intergrain transmission was demonstrated. The quantum Hall system in two-dimensional (2D) and its extension to three-dimensional (3D) layered system were also studied. The interlayer couplings which led to a new spiral metal phase was also shown. It was suggested that changing the strength of disorder could lead to quantum Hall transitions at least for weak breaking of time reversal symmetry.
