Abstract

Coherent effects in vortex motion along artificial laser processed channels of easy vortex motion in thin epitaxial YBCO films have been investigated by means of Raman, magneto-optics and transport measurements. Quasi-Josephson effects manifesting themselves as constant current steps in I-V characteristics of bridges containing laser-fabricated vortex channels prove the coherent nature of the channeled vortex motion.
