Abstract

The problem of modeling correlated non-Gaussian interference is discussed. An innovative generation scheme is proposed, based on the representation of the noise by a solution of certain stochastic differential equations or their combination. Since for this kind of noise the analytic expression for the probability functional can be received the approach is useful not only as the core of the interference simulators but as a decisive tool for detector design. In the case of weak signals, an asymptotically optimal detection system represents a nonlinear whitener with parameters defined by the corresponding generating SDE.
