Abstract

Random telegraph voltages in high-Tc superconducting films have been investigated experimentally. The mechanism laying behind the two-level fluctuations in granular films is well understood. Plausible models have been proposed to explain the experimental observations of telegraph voltages in oriented and epitaxial high-Tc films in the current induced dissipative state only. The noise seen in the presence of applied magnetic field still awaits an explication.
