Abstract

The notion of a rational slice hyperholomorphic function was introduced and studied in [23]. These functions play an important role in various aspects of quaternionic operator theory. It is always of interest to study the finite dimensional version of general results, and rational functions intervene in such cases (see, e.g., Corollaries 6.1.11 and 6.1.12 in Chapter 6).
