Abstract

The authors have developed an electrically driven electromechanical resonator, which resembles the well known RL-diode resonator and is capable of exhibiting a series of period doubling and chaos. A surprisingly simple way has been found for implementing the experimental system by using an ordinary commercially available shaving machine.
