Refined version of the finite differences method in the theory of elasticity

Abstract

A refined version of the finite differences method in the theory of elasticity is proposed and demonstrated while analyzing and investigating the static reactions of a clamped body. Attention is paid to the singularity points at the edges, whose diagnosis can be performed by a special criterion presented here.
