The relationship between mean value and dispersion of the runout of the axis of rotation and bearing eccentricity for a random value of the angle between eccentricity vectors of the bearings are obtained for a two-bearing spindle. Coefficients are presented for calculating the limiting value of runout for known amplitues of component frequencies. A method is suggested for calculating the change in workpiece unroundness during spindle utilization.
