Renormalized critical behavior of constrained dipolar ising ferromagnets

Abstract

Fisher's theory of the critical behavior of constrained systems is generalized for uniaxial dipolar systems in three dimensions. The renormalized specific heat behaves as |ln|T-Tc||-13. This is proved both from general arguments and from the normalization group.
