Abstract
The results of the examinations carried out among 30 workers who were exposed to DBCP, were described in detail. Thereby it became evident that DBCP may cause total barrenness, which is connected with the increase of the FSH-level in plasma. If there existed a partial damage, there could not be detected any hormonal changes. The utility of animal investigations and the right evaluation of the specific chemical substance are discussed, in order to discover in time an eventual health damage.
