Abstract

Like many natural products, citrus juice is affected by many factors, such as climatic, seasonal, agrotechnical etc. The seasonal effects cause several problems in quality control. Almost all statistical techniques for quality control of citrus juice suffer from the same problem, namely they are applicable only to samples obtained under similar conditions to those initially taken, and thus avoiding the seasonal variability.
