Self phase modulation of chirped ultrashort pulses in gas filled hollow core photonic bandgap fibers

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

Self-phase-modulation (SPM) of femtosecond pulses in gas-filled photonic bandgap fibers was studied. SPM was observed at significantly lower powers compared to free-space focused-beams, and its dependence on initial chirp and gas pressure was measured.
