Abstract
The shot noise measurements in the current through a quantum dot were used to examine the effects of electronic correlations on the local density of states in the Kondo regime. The shot noise in the quantum dot was calculated as a function of voltage from high voltage Coulomb blockaded regime to low voltage Kondo regime. The shot noise measurements also yielded a direct estimate of the Kondo temperature. The zero-frequency shot noise showed a nonmonotonic dependence on volatge having a peak around the Kondo temperature.
