Abstract

1H,13C, and29Si NMR spectroscopy was used to study the structure and silylotropy of 2-[dimethyl(pentafluorophenyl)siloxy]-2-penten-4-one. The temperature dependence of the29Si NMR chemical shifts indicated the existence of an intermediate with pentacoordinated silicon.
