Abstract
The proposed approximate analysis of the differential amplifier (DA) gain is based on a simplified circuit diagram in which the DA is represented as a two-stage amplifier. It is suggested that this approach—if used as a preamble to the formal analysis of the DA—could help in providing students with an intuitive link between known and new concepts.
