Abstract
Two parameters of a tight-lattice stationary seed-blanket core were analyzed. These two parameters were the seed infinite multiplication factor (k∞) and the seed conversion ratio (C.R.). The dependence of these parameters on the moderator to fuel volume ratio was calculated and found to be different to that in a homogeneous core. A physical explanation for these differences is given.
