Spatial-polarization state scrambling for image encryption obtained with subwavelength gratings

Abstract

We present an optical encryption/decryption methods based on geometrical phase produced by space-variant polarization manipulation. The elements are formed by use of computer-generated space-variant subwavelength dielectric gratings.
