Abstract
A simple and straightforward method is proposed for simulating the transient and small-signal responses of open and closed-loop s itch-mode DC-DC convertors. The topologyindependent method hinges on the substitution of the switched inductor, fundamental in therealisation of such systems, by an equivalent circuit which represents its average.
