Abstract

Neutron scattering, susceptibility and magnetoresistance studies provide detailed information about the static and dynamic spin correlations in La₂CuO₄, including the effects of antisymmetric exchange. The magnetoresistance studies also provide evidence for strong coupling of the magnetism to the conductivity.
