Abstract
Combined operative reduction of the dislocated hip in older children is a surgical challenge. The components of the combined surgery (innominate osteotomy, open reduction and femoral osteotomy), can be easily approached through a straight lateral incision. This incision also results in more slightly scars than the traditional incisions.
