Strong anisotropic nuclear photon scattering from pyrolytic BN

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Strong anisotropy in the nuclear resonance scattering of photons from a 15N target in the form of pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN) was observed. This is explained quantitatively in terms of the high anisotropy in the atomic binding properties of the BN lattice.
