Abstract

Cryo-crystals existing at helium-nitrogen temperatures are representatives of the simplest molecular crystals that show potential for the investigation of many aspects of crystal chemistry and solid state physics. Progress in the technique of low-temperature experiments over the last 40 years made it possible to carry out systematic investigations of the structure, phase transitions, thermodynamic, optical, and other properties of cryo-crystals in a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
