Abstract

The method of random nuclear photoexcitation was used for studying the energy levels of 93Nb and 123Sb. The γ-beams were obtained from the V(n, γ) and Ti(n, γ) reactions. Spins and parities of some levels were unambiguously determined by angular distribution and polarization measurements. The total width of the 6465 keV resonance level in 93Nb was determined to be Γ = 38 ± 17 MeV. Some strong M1 transitions in 93Nb are discussed.
