Abstract

We present a study of Z boson production in association with a jet with proton-proton collisions data generated at LHC center-of-mass energy of s= 13.6 TeV, using leading-order event generators namely Pythia8 and Herwig7. The Z boson is reconstructed with Z→μ+μ- and Z→e+e- decay channels and the jet is reconstructed using anti-kT algorithm with r = 0.4. In this study, we compare the transverse momentum, pTZ and the invariant mass, mZ spectra in both Pythia8 and Herwig7 event generators by considering Z+jet and Drell-Yan processes.
