Abstract
A number of effective sulfur-resisting catalysts was developed to improve technical and economic characteristics of white oil production by deep hydrogenation. GO-38A (Ni-Mo) was used at the first stage of the process. The catalyst had an increased hydrogenation activity to aromatic hydrocarbons and was stable to sulfur toxins. NMG-60Ts (Ni-Mo-zeolite) was recommended for the second stage. The catalyst was stable, highly effective in refining stock from aromatic hydrocarbons despite sulfur presence more than 0.01 % (mass) in hydrogenation product of the first stage. The products obtained by hydrogenation using GO-38A and NMG-60Ts catalysts satisfied the requirements of standards for vaseline and perfume oil.
