Abstract
A case of osteogenic sarcoma with multiple lung metastases is presented.85Sr lung scans demonstrated abnormal uptake. There was no close correlation between lung metastases seen on ehest X-rays and the accumulation of 85Sr. It is suggested that uptake of 85Sr occurs mainly in active tumor bone formation and less in ossified metastases.
