Abstract

In this paper, is presented a 2D superscattering cylindrical structure made of a PEC cylinder coated with a double negative (DNG) material layer to exhibit a monostatic radar cross section (RCS) as high as that of a PEC 2D plate for normal incidence with equivalent width. The scattering performance of the superscatterer is independent of the plane wave angle of the incidence.
