Abstract
The superfluid suppression of elastic scattering loss when ν becomes comparable to νs and the free-particle dispersion relation no longer applies is addressed. In particular, an example of a specific type of experiment involving the collision of two condensate wave packets that might yield information about superfluid suppression of elastic scattering loss (ESL) is given.
