Abstract

This paper presents a novel technique for extracting the surface impedance of metasurfaces for 2D cylindrical structures, based on the numerical computation of the bistatic Radar Cross-Section (RCS). Accurate impedance extraction is crucial for successful metasurface design. While conventional methods are effective in planar scenarios, the accuracy of designing for curved structures presents challenges. Our approach introduces a valuable contribution to metasurface design in diverse applications, broadening their potential impact in the field of electromagnetic engineering.
