Abstract

Binuclear complex syn-csi-[TrMo(CO)TePh]₂ is synthesized by heating the mixture of the η⁷-TrMo(CO)²Br (Tr = C₇H₇) solution in dichloromethane and PhTeLi solution in ether and studied by X-ray diffraction. The TrMo(CO) fragments are linked together by the bridging PhTe groups [average Mo-Te is 2.814(3) Å] rather than Mo-Mo bonds [Mo...Mo 4.264(3) Å].
