Abstract

A number of ω‐halogenohydroxamic acids were prepared by condensation of the appropriate carboxylic acids with hydroxylamine by means of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide. Characterization of the hydroxamic acids is based on their inter‐ or intramolecular condensation under basic conditions.
