Abstract
Analytic expressions are obtained for the growth of vapor bubbles, taking all the main factors determining this process simultaneously into account: heat transfer, inertia, and nonequilibrium vaporization. The calculations of the present work are compared with numerical calculations for the case of bubble growth in liquid sodium.
