Abstract

In the title compound, C₂₂H₂₆BrNO₆, the indole ring system is planar [maximum deviation 0.029 (2) Å]. The tert-butyl bound carboxyl-ate group forms a dihedral angle of 17.54 (8)° with the indole ring system. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into centrosymmetric R 2 ²(10) dimers by paired C- H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
