Abstract

The proton spin-lattice relaxation time of OBPA (p-octyloxybenzylidene p, N-propylaniline) has been measured as a function of the temperature at various frequencies. The frequency dependent portion of the relaxation rate is attributed to the fluctuation of the order parameter and a frequency cut-off effect was observed.
