Abstract
Evaluates the effect of level of service on patronage using a binary logit model to analyse data on intercity bus use in SE Minnesota. Elasticities were high for social recreational trips (.311 overall) especially for low income users (.64), the young (.546) and the old (.417), but low for nearly all categories of work trip (.036 overall). The highest elastic ities appear to be on carides with an average level of service index. -A.M.Hay
